Kevin T. Doss is an associate with the firm.
Kevin represents employers and insurance carriers in the defense of worker’s compensation and subrogation matters before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, Circuit, and Appellate Courts.
He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. After college, Kevin served as a Teach For America Corps member in New Orleans, Louisiana for two years and an educational consultant in Shanghai, China for one year prior to attending the University of Colorado Law School.
During law school, Kevin interned on the China Team in the Office for Policy and International Affairs at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia, as well as in the Office for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education in Denver, Colorado. He also spent a year working in the Colorado Law School Tech Law and Policy Clinic, during which he co-authored an extensive scoping study regarding access to copyright protected works by persons with disabilities that he presented to the United Nations World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.
Prior to joining the firm, Kevin represented school districts in both Colorado and Illinois, specializing in special education and student data privacy, and litigated on behalf of insurance carriers and self-insured entities in state and federal civil court.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys skiing, hiking, traveling, and watching the perennial disappointment that is his beloved Cleveland Browns.
