Timothy C. Steil

Tim Steil is a partner in our Peoria office.

Tim represents employers and insurance carriers in the defense of workers’ compensation and subrogation matters before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, Circuit and Appellate Courts.

Tim is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and served as a past chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section Council of the ISBA. Tim is also a member of Peoria County Bar Association and served as a past chair of the organization’s Workers’ Compensation Committee.

Tim earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1998. He earned his J.D. from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2001.

Tim is an avid Fighting Illini football and basketball fan. He loves spending time with his wife and daughter as well as their two lovable canines. Tim also enjoys almost all things history with particular interest in early U.S. history and the Civil War. When not reading, you can usually catch Tim trying to find out what new show he should be streaming.
