Joe LaRocco

Joseph LaRocco is an associate with the firm.

Joe represents employers and insurance carriers in the defense of workers’ compensation and subrogation matters before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, Circuit and Appellate Courts.

He is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, the Illinois Bar Association, and the Justinian Society of Lawyers.

Joe earned his J.D. and LL.M. in Intellectual Property (with honors) from The John Marshall Law School where he received the CALI Excellence Award for Remedies and assisted Professor R. Mark Halligan in creating the school’s first online course for Advanced Trade Secrets.

Prior to returning to the defense side of workers' compensation, Joe represented individuals in workers’ compensation and personal injury. This experience allows him to bring a unique perspective on cases, and he uses this knowledge to anticipate arguments and strategies of his opponents.

Joe has been selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2022 and 2023.

When he is not practicing law, Joe enjoys gathering with family and friends, traveling, and going to see movies and live theater.
