Ganan & Shapiro Attorneys Published In ISBA Newsletter

Two of our attorneys have recently written articles for the ISBA Newsletter, which is published by the Illinois State Bar Association on a monthly basis.  The newsletter contains a number of articles which cover a variety of legal topics and is circulated among its attorney members throughout the state.  The articles provide a summary of recent decisions from the appellate courts or Supreme Court, as well as analyses of changes in common or statutory law.  The April newsletter features an article written by Tim Steil of our Peoria office which discusses the operation of the Code of Civil Procedure on cases which have been dismissed by the Commission for want of prosecution, as well as an article written by Courtney Quilter of our Chicago office, discussing a favorable decision she received from the appellate court finding that a truck driver was an independent contractor rather than an employee.

Links to both articles are set forth below.
